The Enforcement Team at Voices for Life reviews each abortion report to monitor cases of illegal activity by abortion doctors. - Three Babies Born Alive From Botched Abortions
The most chilling discoveries we make in examining abortion reports are babies born alive after illegal botched abortions. Our team uncovered three instances of this happening in 2023 alone:
- Dr. Ester Kim delivered a baby born alive at Riley Hospital on February 17th. The baby lived for three hours.
- Dr. Sarah Morgan delivered a baby boy born alive after a botched chemical abortion at Riley Maternity Tower on June 22nd. The baby lived for 6 hours and 3 minutes.
- Dr. Brownsyne Edmonds delivered a baby born alive after a botched chemical abortion at Eskenazi Hospital on July 15th. The baby lived for 2 hours and 28 minutes.

- Failure to disinfect vaginal ultrasound probes.
An inspection of the Planned Parenthood Georgetown clinic in March of 2023 showed “not all the patients that had an ultrasound in January had evidence that the ultrasound probe was disinfected.”

- Illegal sale of abortion pills
An undercover phone call by a St. Joseph County journalist revealed that a staff member from Clinic for Women, Indianapolis was taking abortion pills from the clinic and selling them to women from her home.

As of August 2023 the IN Dept of Health, with the support of the IN Public Access Counselor, has withheld Abortion Reports from public access. Without the Abortion Reports, none of the above violations would have been uncovered.
