Enforcement Work
Any industry that profits off the ending of innocent human life isn’t interested in following the law.
Violations of state & federal law are rampant in the abortion industry, and through our enforcement work we hold abortion doctors accountable.

Voices for Life monitored EVERY abortion performed in Indiana until August 2023 when the IN Department of Health stopped making TPRs publicly available. Now we are fighting a lawsuit to expose the Terminated Pregnancy Reports.
Indiana TPR Violations
A Terminated Pregnancy Report (TPR) is a report completed by the doctor for every abortion he/she performs. Complaints are submitted to the Attorney General (AG) and Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) based on the information provided by the TPRs.
From January 2022-August 2023, Voices for Life found 701 apparent violations. This resulted in 3 abortion clinic inspections by the IN Department of Health, 17 investigations opened by the Attorney General’s office, and 59 complaints forwarded to the Medical Licensing Board.
Abortion Report Lawsuit Timeline
August 2023: the IN Department of Health stopped making TPRs publicly available.
May 1, 2024: Voices for Life, with the legal team from the Thomas More Society launched a lawsuit against the Indiana Department of Health for hiding abortion reports.
February 2025: Voices for Life reached a settlement agreement with the IN Department of Health resulting in TPRs being deemed public record again.
February 2025: Before TPR’s could be released again, abortionists Caitlin Bernard and Caroline Rouse filed a lawsuit against Voices for Life and IN Department of Health to keep TPRs hidden.
July 2025: Voices for Life and the IN Attorney General’s office filed a motion for oral arguments.
December 2025: The Court of Appeals issued a ruling upholding the injunction preventing the public release of Terminated Pregnancy Reports
Why TPRs Are Important:

To see how effective Indiana’s partial abortion ban really is.

To know which doctors and hospitals are performing illegal abortions.

To hold the abortion industry accountable to following the law.
